We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Accounting Manager
Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)
About the role
- In this role, you will manage accounting operations focusing on holding company and consolidated entity reporting.
- You will help manage the company’s global accounting operations, focusing on consolidations, intercompany transactions, and accurate reporting of shared costs across regions.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate consolidation
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations, ensuring alignment with the holding company’s financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with finance operations to implement efficient intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls for holding company
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Drive efficient systems and processing for entity accounting operations
- Experience working with companies operating within the UK financial and regulatory landscape is essential
- Demonstrable expertise in UK financial regulations and tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll.
