We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Accounting Officer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• To assist in ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, and the prompt reconciliation of all subsidiary and group accounts.
• Reconciling general ledger accounts
• Roll forward analysis of balance sheet accounts
• Reconciliation of bank accounts on a daily basis and report to Finance Manager every Friday.
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation last working day of each month
• Filling of payment vouchers and any other relevant accounting documents
• Monthly financial statement review and analysis
• Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
• Provide clerical support for Sales, Tax Reporting
• Posting of payment vouchers on the accounting software as required
• Liaise with bank officials on bank relationship on or before 5pm daily
• Disbursement of Factory/office petty cash expenses on timely basis
• Administration of supplier’s payment
• Tracking of account receivables
• Cash/cheque withdrawals and deposit
• Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 3 - 5 years of work experience.
