We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Procurement Specialist - MRO

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Research select and purchase quality products and materials.
• Builds relationships with suppliers and negotiates with them for the best pricing.
• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
• Responsible for generating and maintenance of purchase orders on ERP
• Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
• Collate information on quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
• Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders
• Prepare a weekly purchase order report to line manager that indicates vendor invoice numbers for all closed purchase orders
• Ensures that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any discrepancies or missing products
• Represents procurement on all projects.

Education & years of Experience

• B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, or any relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years related experience

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

• Strong negotiation skills
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Outstanding communication skills
• Reliable and Trustworthy
