Job Position: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Port Harocurt, Rivers

Job Summary

• The Business Development Officer will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to increase the hotel’s market presence and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and corporate accounts.
• Promote hotel services (accommodation, events, dining, etc.) to potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close business deals.
• Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or hospitality (hotel industry experience is an advantage).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Knowledge of Port Harcourt’s hospitality and corporate landscape is an added advantage.
