Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle transactions, provide excellent customer service, and ensure smooth cash operations.
• The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases and handle cash, credit, or debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious transactions to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cash-handling protocols.
• Assist with other duties as assigned, such as stocking shelves or supporting the team during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier
• Strong numerical and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle transactions efficiently.
• Trustworthy, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.

Salary
N100,000 Monthly.
