Job Description

• As the content manager you will be responsible for developing the company's brand identity and establishing its online presence.
• The job involves overseeing marketing strategies, managing content strategies & production, growing an online community and tracking that community's growth, among other duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with a team consisting of social media manager, content creator, graphic designer and video editor.
• Create and publish engaging content
• Edit, proofread and improve all content posts
• Formulating cross platforms content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
• Liaise with team members to ensure brand consistency
• Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas
• Increase following and engagement on social media
• Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels
• Manage content across all platforms, including email and social media.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven work experience as a Content manager
• Creativity and the ability to develop original content
• Ability to develop content that provokes engagement
• Hands on experience with Google workspace or related
• Familiarity with Inbound marketing business methodology
• Proficiency with popular content management systems.
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
• Familiarity with design software such as Canva
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Experience with social media management
• Attention to detail
• Strong leadership qualities.
