We are recruiting to fill the position below:


Job Position: Controller, Inventory (Order Processing)

Job Location: Sokoto

Job Function

  • This role involves functional responsibility to the Customer Service Manager for several key aspects of inventory management and workflow optimization in a warehouse setting.
  • This includes maintaining electronic inventory records on ERPs such as SAP and ELM.
  • Key responsibilities also include providing necessary information to optimize warehouse workflow, posting receipts and waybills, raising issue notes and invoices, and conducting stock reconciliation.

Key Performance Areas
Order Fulfilment:

  • Posts stock transactions on WMS or ERP in accordance with clients’ SOPs.
  • Ensuring real time posting of all receipts/waybills, issues/invoices into the system.
  • Ensures tracing and documentation of waybills/invoices/stock issue notes raised for tracking or audit.
  • Ensure the appropriate allocation of storage locations to support proper warehouse arrangement and optimize space utilization in the warehouse.
  • Ensure to process orders from client: from point of receipt to issuance on warehouse ERP.
  • Issue warehouse stocks to fill requisitions as required.
  • In conjunction with the CSM and clients’ representatives, establish delivery priorities and delivery destination points through coordinated activities.
  • In conjunction with the Quality Assurance Pharmacist/CSM update stock expiry status (Stock Expiry Reports), damaged, expired stock etc and effect WMS transition into the damaged/expired status before physical movement of affected stocks in the quarantine bay.

Stock Management & Reporting:

  • Support in preparing documentation for physical inventory checks on a regular basis and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly as may be required.
  • Investigates stock discrepancies against the system record.
  • Escalate to CSM all observed discrepancies in cycle count and stock count reconciliations within 24 hours.
  • Reconciling and correcting stock discrepancies as may be directed by the CSM.
  • Track and report on stock shelf life (Expiry report) to the clients.
  • Prepares consolidated reports and update clients on daily/weekly/monthly bases with respect to stock balance (on sellable/usable, expired, and damaged) as may be directed by the CSM.

  • Ensure the protection of the company’s assets against careless handling and fraudulent practices.

HSE:

  • Shall promote a culture of safety and align with MDS HSEQ policy and guidelines.
  • Participation in TQS and HSE meetings and carrying out our agreed action points.

Requirements
Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/  HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of post-qualification experience in warehousing, inventory management, supply chain operations, and customer service.
  • WMS experience.
  • Inventory management.
  • Process or workflow management.
  • Order fulfilment.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite or related software.
