Job Description
The export manager will be responsible for the following:


  • Formulate and implement Export best practice in line with GBfoods Export framework.
  • Manage export flows and cost within the country and with offshore customers.
  • Manage the team to achieve a viable result on Export activities.
  • Ensure an efficient co-ordination of all Freight forwarders and government agencies to enhance all operation flows with adequate reduction of the Export timeline.
  • Plan and implement freight forwarding flows between various entities to improve deliveries to the to the port and ensure export container meet up with the vessel sailing date
  • Coordinate with commercial banks on the appropriate documentation.
  • Responsible for entire export documentation processes (NXP, COO, BOL…etc)
  • Responsible for managing relationship with  Vendors, SON, NAFDAC, NACCIMA NEROLI, Shipping Lines, and other relevent agencies
  • Need to have inter face with West africa Customer service and supply planner

Requirements

  • A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or any relevant field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a FMCG - working in SAP/R3 environment of which at least 5 years must have been carried out at a middle management level

Skills and Attitudes:

  • Advance knowledge, experience & understanding of integrated business systems, applications & concepts, plus advanced level of Microsoft Office literacy
  • Must have demonstrated strong leadership qualities inline with recognised policies and practices.
