FIELD AUDITOR (ABUJA-FCT)

ENTOURAGE INTEGRATED TRUST LIMITED is looking for an objective and FIELD AUDITOR in ABUJA-FCT who speaks and understands the Hausa language and is open to working anywhere in the northern part of Nigeria to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and sound judgment.

Responsibilities 

• Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit’s results and document the process.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures
• Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
• Document process and prepare the audit findings memorandum
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards
• Keep a check on processes and regulations
• Ensuring staff compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Travel to different states for auditory reviews and assessments.
• Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings.
• Providing a solution to the company's internal problems 

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as an Auditor in a Microfinance or Lending company 
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
• Close attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• A strong aptitude for mathematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in the financial system.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Ability to speak the Hausa Language fluently 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills.
• HND/BSc degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related field 

Benefits:

Starting Salary: N150,000

Bi-annual Profit Sharing

Flexible working hours: 11 am – 6 pm

Yearly appraisal
