Job Position: Health Assistant

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Health Assistant to support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care.
• The Health Assistant will perform a range of clinical and administrative tasks to assist in the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and doctors in basic patient care, including monitoring vital signs and recording observations
• Support patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, mobility assistance)
• Prepare and sanitize examination rooms, equipment, and instruments
• Ensure timely documentation and updating of patient records
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Administer medications under supervision (where allowed by law and policy).

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; additional Healthcare certification (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant, Community Health Extension Worker) preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• First aid and CPR certification is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well under supervision and in a team
• Compassionate, patient, and physically fit.

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
