Victory Empowerment Centre is a micro-finance Non Governmental Organization (NGO) with a prime objective of improving the living of the poor men/women through innovative and flexible microfinance services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Internal Auditor
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Audit of operational procedure in branches
• Planning and directing company financial audits.
• Supporting the accounting and auditing teams in their daily functions.
• Preparing audit reports and statements for review.
• Ensuring the organization is compliant with current legislation and best practices.
• Verifying company financial information.
• Knowledgeably answering client audit queries in good time.

Skills / Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Statistics or relevant course
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant
• Project planning and time management skills.
• Familiarity with accounting and office software.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Team player.
• Good Knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures.
