Job Position: IT Manager

Purpose

• The IT Manager is a senior IT professional responsible for overseeing the company's technology infrastructure and driving its strategic direction. This role involves leadership, technical expertise, and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including delegating tasks, providing coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and implement the IT strategy, aligning it with the overall business goals.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and user compliance.
• Plan, implement, and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
• Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
• Oversee the maintenance and security of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Analyze IT needs and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and recommend their integration into the company's IT infrastructure.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure the company receives the best value from its IT service providers.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT management.
• Proven experience in leading and managing an IT team.
• Budget management experience.
• Project management experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
