Auldon Limited is a toy trading company strategically located in the commercial centre of idumota Lagos Nigeria, it is a wholesale distribution organization servicing major departmental stores, Multi-National Organizations and educational institutions within Nigeria and its sub-region. Founded as Arigold Toys in 1996 before transforming into a limited liability company, with the registration RC-439491 and named auldon limited in the year 2002.


Auldon limited is famously known internationally for pioneering the African Themed Unity Girls Dolls, a collection of 14-inch dolls, each representing Nigeria’s three major tribes which promotes cultural inclusion amongst Africans and her diaspora communities. The product is being created to deliver an empowering social message to girls around Nigeria and the world at large.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Finance Manager

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are currently recruiting for a Financial Manager that will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
  • The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to upper management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily sales reports and financial statements for trends and discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Ensuring all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles and federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll are recorded properly.
  • Performing fiscal year-end close activities and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors.
  • Review and approve expenditure requests within designated limits.
  • Oversee reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank statements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  •  Proven experience in retail finance or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in cash flow management and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and cost-reduction strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Familiarity with tax filing requirements and coordination with tax advisors
  • Certified Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or ICAN is a plus.

2.) Sales Representative

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Auldon toys s currently recruiting for a sales representative who will understands customer product needs, and recommends merchandise to drive sales and meet targets. Key responsibilities include processing transactions, managing inventory, maintaining store presentation, providing excellent customer service, Strong communication skills and also with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct customers
  • Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  • Cross-sell products
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked
  • Manage returns of merchandise
  • Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers

Requirements and skills

  • B.Sc in Marketing or related field is a must
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Basic math skills
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility to work various shifts

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.

3.) E-Commerce Manager

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are currently recruiting for an E-Commerce Manager who will be responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and performance of a company's online sales channels.
  • He/She will develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, manage online stores, innovate new digital experiences, and oversee product rollouts.
  • This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical skills, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and Executing E-commerce Strategy: This includes setting goals, identifying target audiences, and defining the overall online sales approach.
  • Managing Online Stores: Ensuring the website is functioning optimally, managing product listings, and optimizing the user experience to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Overseeing Product Rollouts: Translating commercial goals into briefs for creative and website development teams, and implementing changes to the online store for new product launches.
  • Innovating New Digital Experiences: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, analyzing website data, and brainstorming new ideas to improve the online customer experience.
  • Building and Maintaining E-commerce Websites: This includes managing product pages, landing pages, and other aspects of the website's functionality.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating the needs of the e-commerce channel to other departments and understanding the needs of other teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing website data, sales figures, and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an e-commerce manager or in a similar e commerce or digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce technologies • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)
