Overview
- Mastercard Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) develops and delivers world-class risk, security products, and services for Mastercard customers across the globe. As part of this organization, Cyber Products Team is responsible for:
- Marketing and distribution of cyber security products and interacting with key customers and stakeholders (issuers, acquirers, processors, government entities, etc.
- Ongoing management and enhancements of key products, analysis and evaluation of performance and insight generation
Responsibilities
- Develops regional go-to-market strategies and leads execution to ensure maximum penetration of product and value delivered to customers. This includes aligning with global teams and supporting the sales team with go-to-market plans, material, pricing and training
- Engage in idea generation, concept validation, business case development, and in some instances financial modeling and planning
- Monitor and evaluate product performance; ability to locate and use relevant data to support performance measurement, tracking, and product insights. Build reporting templates and tools
- Become the subject matter expert in Cyber Security (especially in Cyber Risk Management and Cyber Security Standards compliance) to guide customers and internal stakeholders
- Manage and maintain existing product lines on an on-going basis
- Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition in order to inform product and go-to-market strategies
- Interface with market teams, sales, finance, legal, marketing, operations, implementations as the product owner to ensure successful launch of products
- Build overall understanding of Cyber & Intelligence Solutions offerings and broader Mastercard products and services to leverage synergies within the organization to maximize value delivered to customers

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Experience from a cyber security consulting firm desirable
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to conduct structured analysis and synthesize large amounts of data.

2.) Manager, Consumer Products West Africa

Description of the Role
- Provide customer and competitive feedback in order to embed them into both cluster and regional product line strategy and product development efforts.
- Be a subject matter expert and help strengthening relationships with key customers. Support account and market development teams during customer meetings by sharing product and business insights, provide RFP response support, translate deal-specific needs into product requirements.
- Identify target customers according to their fit into product strategy.
- Have a responsibility for preparing and sharing market MIS (data/insights/performance).

- Train salesforce on product line attributes to improve sales process effectiveness

The job holder will carry out the responsibilities detailed below in the assigned location within West Africa markets:
- Develop sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development and account management teams
- Work with Customer Account Managers and Country Managers to identify opportunities to sell new products to existing customers
- Participate in high-level, interactive conversations with key decision makers around new or emerging product opportunities
- Analyze customers’ existing business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis and recommend opportunities for additional revenue
- Develop long-term growth strategies to optimize mutual profitability across debit and credit business lines
- Work with virtual team of MC subject matter experts to strategically articulate value propositions to close new business opportunities
- Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified opportunities
- Execute and manage the customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing
- Be the responsible “face of MasterCard” to the prospect/customer through high level interactions with key stakeholders such as senior bank executives, country regulatory contacts, representatives of marketing and card vendors as well as third party processing companies.
Major Accountabilities
- This individual is the 'Go To' person for Business Development across the assigned location within West Africa ensuring alignment between the location’s 'go-to-market' approaches and the overall MEA Business Development strategy, taking into account the region's longer term strategic initiatives.
- Fundamental to accelerating the development of the business in the allocated location, is a backbone of strong issuance strategy in partnership with key Banks. The individual will be responsible for developing a dedicated Issuance plan and strategy across the assigned location.
- In addition, the successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of the payments industry P&L and how to maximize revenue through an effective issuance strategy.
- Establish new partner / vendor/ enabler / joint venture integration with capabilities to sustain MasterCard’s competitive advantage and tracking performance against key objectives.
- This individual will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with Issuers, vendors, the banking industry and the regulators across the assigned location.
- The individual will support in the development of the allocated location’s Interchange strategies, in collaboration with all regional cross functional teams. The successful candidate will be required to support in the assigned location’s Regulatory dialogue and support Country Management, on all matters relating to national and regional interests.
