1.) Executive Assistant to the Managing Director

Job Location: Awoyaya, Ibeju-lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • Greeting clients, answering the telephone, and making follow-up calls.
  • Preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.
  • Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Preparing listing materials and posting property listings.
  • Interact with clients professionally at all times
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide information as needed while maintaining confidentiality in all communication.
  • Act as a company culture liaison between the clients and the MD and anticipate MD’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences etc.
  • Write and compile minute of meetings.
  • Responsible for ordering and sending any milestone gifs for clients as ordered by the MD.
  • You are expected to follow the instruction of management and discharge duties assigned to you with diligence.
  • Maintain current information on properties under management.
  • Coordinate meetings, draft agendas, schedule appointments, maintain calendars and assist with travel itineraries and conference room reservations and sending reminders for deadlines (including coordination of meetings and site visits with teams).
  • Performing administrative duties, answering telephone lines, creating letters and compiling written communications, typing and filling.
  • Creating reports, maintaining reports, spreadsheets and databases.

2.) Legal Officer

Job Location: Ibeju-lekki, Lagos

Job Description

  • A legal officerplays a vital role in managing legal matters related to real estate transactions, contracts, property acquisitions, and compliance.
  • They ensure that the company's activities align with applicable laws and regulations. Here is an overview of the job description:

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, leases, and purchase/sale agreements.
  • Manage and resolve legal disputes or issues arising from real estate transactions, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of legal contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to the company's management and other departments on matters related to real estate transactions, land acquisition, property development, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with Nigerian real estate laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in negotiating and structuring real estate deals, including property acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Stay updated with changes in real estate laws and regulations in Nigeria and provide recommendations for compliance.

Education

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.): Obtain a Bachelor of Laws Degree from a recognized Nigerian university or an institution with equivalent accreditation.
  • Nigerian Law School: Successfully complete the mandatory one-year program at the Nigerian Law School and pass the Bar Final Examinations to become eligible for legal practice in Nigeria.
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian real estate laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Excellent drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills to interact with stakeholders, clients, and legal professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and legal analysis.
  • Research and legal writing skills to conduct thorough legal research and produce well-reasoned legal opinions.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field from a recognized institution. The program should provide a strong foundation in design principles, software skills, and creative thinking.
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar tools.
  • Creativity and a strong eye for aesthetics, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
