1.) Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join their pharmaceutical team.
• The successful candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate labelling and packaging of prescriptions.
• Maintain an organised and up-to-date inventory of medications and supplies.
• Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and report generation.
• Organise and manage inventory, restock shelves, check for expired goods and place orders for low-stock items.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Provide necessary information to patients regarding medication use.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the pharmacy environment.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Pharmacy Technology from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or hospital setting.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to take instructions and execute them efficiently.
• Respect for workplace structure, teamwork, and professional conduct.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be computer literate and able to use digital systems confidently.
• A valid Pharmacy Technician license must be readily available.

2.) Laboratory Technician

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A reputable healthcare facility is seeking experienced Laboratory Technicians to perform medical laboratory tests, prepare specimens, ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting patient specimens according to established procedures, including venipuncture (drawing of blood) and urine sample collections
• Assist the Medical Lab Scientist in preparing specimens for analysis using appropriate techniques in the departmental standard operating procedures.
• Regularly conduct quality control checks on instruments and reagents to ensure accuracy of results.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials by maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Accurately interpret, record and report test results to the Physician promptly.
• Adherence to all laboratory safety protocols, infection control guidelines, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Assist in departmental stock taking
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Diploma Certificate in Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience
• Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and diagnostic procedures.
• Valid Laboratory Technician practising license.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
