About the Role

  • We’re hiring a Lead Integration Engineer responsible for databases and applications-related matters. 
  • This role designs and implements integration processes. 
  • The Lead Integration Engineer will also be responsible for identifying potential integration business opportunities and target companies beneficial to Piggyvest.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and implement the integration process. This can also include creating documentation for the process so that future managers and engineers know how to solve potential issues.
  • Identify potential integration business opportunities and target companies beneficial to the Company.
  • Build and develop software that helps in commercial and strategic partnerships with the key targeted companies and implements effective strategies for profitable integrations.
  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
  • Write and integrate effective APIs.
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
  • Create security and data protection settings.
  • Write technical documentation.
  • Establish a systematic process for retaining partnerships and good relationship management.
  • Such other duties as assigned by your team lead, the directors, and the company's senior management team.

Requirements

  • Must have good knowledge of NodeJS, JavaScript, typescript, and GCP.
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD platforms (we use GitHub actions).
  • Must be able to document well.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing software (backend specific).
  • Must have good knowledge of security implementations.
