Job Position: Logistics & Courier Sales Executive

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The position holder will perform various functions, which primarily involves participating in the growth of the business.
• Perform Cold-calling and follow up over the telephone, schedule visits to potential business clients.
• Responsible for researching and seeking out prospects via sales calls to build a portfolio of clients.
• Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships.
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution.
• Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers and carriers.
• Should well conversant with own product details and freight knowledge of market freight rates and competitors to have a edge over competition.
• Responsible for establishing and developing relationships with clients and providing them with excellent customer service.
• Responsible for communicating with the operations team to track loads as well as clients/prospects to provide them with up-to-date information.
• Responsible for aiding successful pick-up and delivering, and over the road assistance while customers’ courier moves across nairobi.
• Responsible for developing a sales plan to achieve monthly sales target.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Business Marketing or related fields
• 3 years of experience as a sales executive (preferably in the logistics industry or a related field)
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness to make logistical decisions that prioritise profitability
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Exceptional customer relationship management
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range
N150,000 - N180,000 / Month.
