Marketing Executive

Position Summary

 The purpose of the Marketing Executive – Chua role is to support the implementation of the marketing strategy for Chua. This role requires a high level of market understanding and a diverse skill set across multiple areas, including social media marketing, event planning, strategic and conceptual thinking, content creation, and relationship management. 
The Marketing Executive, will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing new and existing customer relationships, as well as leading future business development activities.


The Marketing Executive, will be responsible for establishing and building close Customer affinity to identify, develop, and capture new business opportunities within the Maritime, Oil and Gas and related industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage preparation and distribution of product information sheets, brochures, and capability briefings 
  • Execute strategic marketing plans and strategies
  • Research and develop successful marketing plans focused on direct sales and promotions
  • Monitor, measure and report the effectiveness of marketing initiatives against success metrics such as click through rates, traffic, and conversions
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence and explore new ways to reach and engage our target buyers
  • Craft content for various social channels
  • Suggest measures to constantly improve our offering and the way we market our products 
  •  Deliver a great experience to our many partners and manage these relationships to ensure result-oriented outcomes as well as positive brand affiliation.
  •  Attend relevant events to evangelize the company's mission and find likeminded individuals and companies to align with on future initiatives 
     
  • Working with project management, facilitate customer kick-off meetings, client status meetings, and quarterly business reviews 
  • Work with company project managers to identify and pursue follow-on opportunities 
  • Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to maintain deep understanding of market segment and customer environment 
  • Other marketing and supervisory related duties as assigned 
  • Travel as required; up to 50%

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years marketing experience, with a focus on Maritime, Oil and Gas executing industry-specific marketing programs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience in website CMS, email marketing, and Analytics
  • Experience with office applications, specifically spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Knowledge of database marketing, targeting, and segmentation

Degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience.

Remuneration: Commission -Based Salary
