Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Logistics and Materials Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Description
- Support all aspects of warehousing and material management including transactional quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and logistics.
- Ensure operational excellence through all phases of Logistics operations, material movement and storage.
- Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Accounting, Economics, Sciences, Quantity Surveyor, Logistics Management and relevant discipline, Finance.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment QA/QC, Material and Inventory Management, Audit, and operations management.
- Expert knowledge of ERP e.g., Oracle, SAP, Arriba.
- Record of successful management of air, land and marine logistics management with zero Fatality and LTI.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
- Must possess sufficient skills to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Expert skill in the use of Excel, and skilled level of Word, Power Point.
- Strong computer skills.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Proficient in standard logistics software.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
2.) Head, Cost Engineering and Planning
Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Description
- Lead cost engineering portfolio and build SCM integrated planning model.
- Provides financial or spend report and trend, in consultation with project engineers.
- Formulate mechanism and develop templates for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
- Drives Innovative Business Ideas developing new insights into solutions that result in organizational improvement; promoting cross-functional collaboration that fosters creative thinking, innovation and rational risk-taking.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity survey, Engineering, Sciences or Business Management.
- +8 years of experience in project estimation and costing, Engineering, contract/project management or sourcing in the oil and gas industry.
- Professional certification in cost engineering and project management.
- Skilled in use of oracle ERP.
- Data Analytics, coding and programing skill is an asset.
- Exemplify a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Estimation, cost engineering and building financial cost models for projects and market trend Analysis.
- Knowledge, experience or good exposure to oil and gas costing, procurement, and project management.
- Mastery knowledge Nigerian upstream contacting processes and regulatory requirement.
- Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
- Must have strong computer skills and excellent in PowerPoint, excel and SQL language.
- Strong experience of petroleum agreements and working with regulators e.g. Niums, NCDMB and NUPRC.
- Excellent in data mining and conducting market intelligence.
3.) Treasury and Receivables Accountant
Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Description
- Monitors and processes banking transactions in collaboration with the Management and Project Accountant.
- Prepares and submits a weekly cash report for all bank accounts.
- Posting of all company receipts on the ERP and all accounts receivables transactions.
- Monthly bank reconciliation and preparation of bank reconciliation statements for all bank accounts assigned.
Requirements
- B.Sc. graduate with ICAN/ ACCA in view.
- Two years of work experience in an accounting related unit.
- Basic knowledge of tax and Statutory remittance deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in MS-Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of banking operations.
- Multi-tasking and coordination.
4.) Business Controller
Job Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract
Description
- Participate in the preparation of the Monthly Reporting to Management and Corporate Head Office in partnership with the Chief Accountant.
- Check and control the reliability of cost accounting and management information from different reports.
- Prepare the Budget and Mid-term Plan for the various entities.
- Participate in strengthening and training the Credit Controllers and Debts Collectors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Good numerical skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS excel, power point & IT systems.
