Position Overview


  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Manager to join our facility management company.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring the timely and efficient supply of goods and services required for our facility management operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives for facility management services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, specifications, and requirements for various projects and ongoing operations.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability; negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favorable agreements.
  • Implement and maintain a robust procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to forecast procurement needs, manage budgets, and control costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the procurement team, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for procurement agreements, ensuring legal and compliance standards are met.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and laws related to procurement, ensuring company-wide compliance.
  • Handle escalated issues related to procurement, working collaboratively to find timely and effective solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of successful vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and industry trends within the facility management sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) are desirable.
