The main product lines consist of spices, spreads, sauces and complimentary food that excite and satisfy institutional, commercial and retail customers across Nigeria.

Job Position: Procurement Officer

Job Summary

• The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing raw materials, especially agricultural produce, required for production.
• This role supports the Procurement Manager in ensuring timely supply, quality assurance, and cost-effective procurement while maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers and farmers.

Duties/ Responsibilities
He/She will:

• Source and procure agricultural raw materials in line with production schedules and quality standards
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, especially smallholder farmers and aggregators
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery timelines to ensure the best value for the company
• Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and minimize stockouts
• Liaise with quality control and warehouse teams to ensure materials meet required standards
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Support data collection and reporting for procurement-related KPIs
• Assist in developing and maintaining supplier relationships and contracts
• Stay informed on market trends, seasonal price fluctuations, and commodity availability

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field. A degree in Agric Extension would be an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, or food processing.
• Strong understanding of agricultural value chains and local sourcing dynamics.
