We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Project Manager
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Major Duties and Responsibilities


  • Ability to manage project based on Project Management Techniques
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Determine and define scope of work and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Predict resources needed to complete project
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Manage construction schedule and activities
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques to identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Provide project updates and reports on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding costs and timelines, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

Qualifications

  • A good First Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Quantity Surveying with a good grade in any reputable University.
  • Additional qualifications up to a Master’s degree AEQ
  • Second Degree in Project Management is an added advantage
  • Project Management Professional Certification is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primaver
  • Use of BIM Software is an added advantage

Experience:

  • 7 - 10 years post-graduation experience of which a minimum of 4 years should have been spent at a senior position handling similar responsibilities in a reputable organisation.
