Job Details


  • The Exec QC will complement the Lead QC in terms of providing quality control support, human resource support and Morale support.
  • The QC Exec will ensure that all data discrepancies are identified and communicated expeditiously to the lead QC and that the lead QC fully understands any data issue arising. The Exec QC shall be responsible for digital checks on data and propose best ways of improving quality.
  • The Exec QC will deploy findings acquired from trainings to improve quality and effect faster ways of checking data and communicating findings.
  • The Exec QC will cascade trainings and briefings to the rest of the team ensuring their knowledge is up to date and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the Lead QC in terms of providing quality control support, human resource support and Morale support.
  • Attending briefings, participate in script testing and coming up with a QC project plan which informs QC execution on the project
  • Identifying any flows on the questionnaire and reporting on it.
  • Listening to recordings and counterchecking with the data to confirm congruency. Providing recordings of interest to be used for Call- Calibration sessions.
  • Conduct callbacks to ascertain key metrics in the data and conformity with the study brief.
  • Verifying open ends for completeness and accuracy.
  • Writing reports with precision and brevity (Both CATI & CAPI) and collaborating closely with the PM and suppliers on areas of concerns.
  • Leading Automation in the market through available platforms like KQCS, Control Charts and Audit Trail Power BI.
  • Checking & verifying that GPS coordinates match the sampling instruction and Checking time stamps and the length of interview to identify trends and flag discrepancies
  • Carrying out comparison analysis to check QC data Vs Field data and identifying any flows and Presenting sample achievements after QC checks.
  • Preparing a Re-dos and internal cancellation's tracker that advises decisions to be taken at interviewer level and updating of the interviewer caution list.
  • Populating the problem and solution register that informs QC project plans.
  • Attending Closure meetings to pick findings and communicate the best ways of working on future projects.
  • Any other as might be assigned by the QC lead.

Requirements
Essential:

  • 3 - 5 year plus of research operations experience in Nigeria region.
  • Understands the research cycle.
  • Proven experience in Infield Quality assurance/Forensics, Recordings listening and telephonic back checks.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills.  
  • Knowledge of Field processes - Data Collection
  • Degree in Mathematics / Commerce/Statistics/Business Administration/Management/ Project Management.
  • Principled on quality, has foresight & clarity through turbulent times and holds them.
  • Knowledge and use of CAPI data collection platforms such as STG/NIPO/DIMENSION.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English Language
  • Conversant with GDPR.
