Job Description
- Dot Microfinance Bank is seeking a highly sophisticated and target-driven Sales Manager (HNIS) to lead our efforts in acquiring and deepening relationships with High-Net-Worth Individuals.
- Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy to attract and manage a portfolio of affluent clients, driving significant growth in deposits, investments, and bespoke lending solutions.
Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Portfolio Growth
- Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new High-Net-Worth Individual clients, focusing on acquiring significant deposits and investment mandates.
- Bespoke Solutions: Proactively understand the complex financial needs of HNI clients and structure customised solutions leveraging the bank's full product suite (e.g., tailored lending, exclusive investment products, wealth advisory).
- Referral Network: Develop and maintain a strong professional network, including legal advisors, accountants, and family offices, to generate high-quality referrals and expand the client base.
Relationship Management:
- Client Service: Serve as the dedicated primary relationship manager for your HNI portfolio, ensuring exceptional, discreet, and personalised service that exceeds client expectations.
- Retention & Deepening: Develop strategies to maximise client retention and increase the share of wallet by cross-selling and up-selling products based on life-stage and wealth planning needs.
Performance & Compliance:
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed aggressive targets for new client acquisition, portfolio size (AUM/Deposits), and revenue generation as defined by the CCO.
- Compliance & Due Diligence: Ensure all client onboarding and transactional activities adhere strictly to regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and internal compliance standards.
- Reporting: Provide detailed, accurate reports on sales pipeline, portfolio performance, and client engagement metrics to the CCO.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or a dedicated sales role focused on High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIS).
- The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience successfully managing and growing an HNI portfolio.
- Proven ability to build, grow, and retain a high-value portfolio of affluent clients.
- Excellent understanding of financial markets, investment products, trust services, and sophisticated banking solutions.
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building lasting client relationships.
- High level of professional integrity and discretion.
- You must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of wealth management products, and the discretion required to handle high-value client relationships.
