Job Position: Senior Accountant

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
• The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise junior accountants while supporting management with strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant tax regulations.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by junior staff.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to provide insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 3 -5 years of accounting experience
