We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Supply Chain Officer
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Experience Level: Experienced Professionals
Position Summary
- Responsible for managing end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and logistics processes to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods and services.
- The role involves vendor management, quotation and order processing, customer engagement, and implementation of cost-saving and process improvement initiatives that support business growth.
Essential Job Functions
- Source quality materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers or OEMs
- Process RFQs, obtain freight costs, and prepare competitive client quotations
- Follow up on submitted quotes to secure purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics providers for timely shipment and delivery.
- Inspect and verify received goods against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Track and control procurement costs in line with approved budgets and targets
- Collect and analyze supply chain data to support strategic decision-making.
- Support cost-saving and logistics optimization initiatives.
- Update procurement Tracker and Logs and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
Requirements
Education:
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum Experience:
- 4 years+ of sourcing or procurement experience
- Experience in the energy, industrial, or technical services sector is an added advantage
Skills & Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Basic understanding of contract and purchase order terms.
Professional Memberships:
- CIPS (student or Affiliated) or equivalent.
Technical Skills & Competence Requirements:
- Proficient in Use of Microsoft Excel
- Conversant with ERP Platforms.

- Proactive, with a sense of ownership and urgency
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Professionalism in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
