TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for researching, developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for 5C Limited and her clients. The role will effectively and efficiently research job openings at existing and potential clients, as well as recruiting, marketing and placing candidates in companies.

The TAS focuses on ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and clients by delivering the right

talent to the right roles at the right time which includes revising the effectiveness of the current recruitment practices and making recommendations for the future.


The TAS will build a candidate database, develop a strong network of quality and prospective applicants.

The TAS is responsible for the execution of the recruitment services that has been contracted by clients and be willing to serve as off-site recruiter for 5C Limited’s clients or work for staffing agencies that specialize in filling positions for clients.

The role will include setting budgets and support in creating recruiting materials, managing a comprehensive process and system for tracking candidates, and creating a positive hiring experience for all candidates.

The individual will have a robust knowledge and intimate understanding of delivering recruitment best practice, Personnel Management and Personnel Development business as well as overall knowledge of multiple business sectors and Industry requirements.

 

• Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy.

• Develop company’s workflows, policy and procedures for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing.

• Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions.

• Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needs.

• Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)

• Reviews employment applications and background check reports.

• Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.

• Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.

• Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment.

• Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.

• Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.

• Administer and submit all hiring paperwork for new employees.

Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives

• Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics.

• Communicate regularly with client’s HR department to get a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals.

• Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges.

• Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies.

• Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.

• Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry.

• Utilising the 5C Employee Value Proposition and Employer Brand for maximum impact to ensure 5C is attracting exceptional candidates that will support the achievement of our strategic outcomes.

• Uphold the highest standards of “customer service” to ensure that all contact is a memorable and positive experience at all times.

• Develop and conduct survey interviews regarding the recruitment process and the initial employment experience 3 months after candidate start date.

• Collating and reporting on all recruitment activity to identify areas for improvement and information that requires action/consideration.

• Develop, design and implement assessment centre models of recruitment as and when required.

• Identify potential improvements to ensure the continuous improvement of recruitment process and service levels.

• Responsible for identifying and implementation of relevant technology, software, applications and other enabling work tools for efficient delivery of recruitment services.

• Contribute to a cohesive, effective and highly motivated team environment by taking responsibility for effective skills transfer and knowledge share, and being available to cover other team members in times of absence.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties – Business Development:

• Responsible for overall profitability of the 5C Limited talent acquisition business.

• The TAS drives and is responsible for branding and provides support on Business Development

activities.

• Monitors quarterly marketing and sales goals for the talent acquisition business and provides

feedback and corrective actions.

• Ensures major contracts are closed at prices that meet the strategic growth and profitability levels.

• Is responsible for deployment of marketing related talent acquisition business tools and for

ensuring that they are understood, used and contain relevant and accurate data.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience

• Oil and Gas Industry experience required

• MSc. in Human resources or similar relevant field

• In-depth knowledge of candidates selection methods

• Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes

• Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks

• A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
