The Role

As a Technician – Tank Cleaning Systems, you will play a crucial role in keeping advanced cleaning installations, high-pressure pumps, rotary jet heads, and control systems running reliably. From electrical troubleshooting to mechanical repairs, you ensure everything works safely and efficiently. You will be part of a multicultural team in an international environment, with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate.

Responsibilities


  • Diagnose and repair faults in tank cleaning systems, pumps, and electrical installations.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on high-pressure pumps, dosing units, valves, and steam/compressed air lines.
  • Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Support system upgrades, modifications, and process improvements.
  • Apply safety standards: LOTO, confined space entry, gas testing, ATEX, and PPE.
  • Train operators on safe and efficient use of cleaning systems.
  • Keep clear documentation and contribute to innovation and sustainability projects.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for motivated and skilled technicians with backgrounds in tank cleaning systems, oil & gas facilities, refineries, or industrial process plants.

You are:

  • Hands-on, reliable, and safety-focused.
  • A strong communicator with clear English (spoken and written).
  • A real team player, able to work in a diverse, international environment.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and confident in solving technical challenges.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Direct experience with tank cleaning systems (e.g., refineries, tank farms, depots, or CIP processes).
  • At least 3 years of proven industrial maintenance experience.
  • Vocational diploma (MBO level or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Energy Technology.
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, and process installations.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams (P&ID, wiring schematics).
  • Age under 30 (born after 01/11/1995).
  • Valid passport (active or ability to obtain one quickly).
  • Readiness to relocate within 12 weeks.
  • Flexibility for shift work between 06:00 and 20:00.
  • Fluent English and strong teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Certifications: VCA, NEN3140, confined space entry, gas testing, ATEX.
  • Basic PLC/SCADA troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Driving licence (EU Category B).
