We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Warehouse Administrator

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Summary of Responsibilties


  • Responsible for receiving, binning and supply of all parts received from overseas and Interbranch transfer.
  • Also responsible for monitoring and ensuring proper documentation of in and out transactions of parts and ensure effective periodic stock checking.

Main Functions

  • Monitor activities in oversea freight and IBT section in ensuring efficient treating, issuing and binning process.
  • Supervise the warehouse daily activities including the staff.
  • Attend to and promptly resolve resulting discrepancies. Issues beyond capacity to resolve must be promptly brought to WTL and LM.
  • Implement warehouse activities and actions that would complement and ensure successful conduct of General stock-checks i.e. pre-counting exercise.
  • Investigate and liaise WTL for resolutions to variances arising from stock check activities at Oregun.
  • Develop a working schedule for all warehouse team members.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, Monthly and annual reports are shared with the WTL
  • Treat contents of all stock received for Oregun branch up to supply to customer and binning to locations within 24 hours of receipt from oversea.
  • Maintain clean and proper packaging of parts in locations.
  • Co-ordinate and administer the requisition, usage, application and overall upkeep of transaction documents relevant to Oregun warehouse operations.
  • Ensure proper utilization and regular maintenance, or appropriate repair actions of the Warehouse lift trucks/ Handling equipment.
  • Coordinate the contamination control activity to meet CAT benchmark.
  • Supervises and train staff in building of CAT Hydraulic hoses/Reman inspection using most modern technology and tools.

Relevant Information

  • BSc / HND in Engineering or Business Administration with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to operate lift truck is an added advantage.
  • Should be computer literate and must be of discerned high integrity.
