Job Description


  • We require the service of Communications and Brand manager that would also function as Personal assistant to the Senior pastor.
  • You are to the provides essential support to the communications and PR department, enabling effective management of communication strategies, media relations and public image initiatives for the Senior Pastor and report directly to the Chief of staff.

Job Responsibilities
Media Liaison:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and influencers.
  • Coordinate media inquiries, interview requests, and facilitate media interactions.
  • Assist in the drafting and distribution of press releases, media advisories, and other communication materials.

Content Development:

  • Manage the Senior Pastor’s Content Calendar
  • Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling written content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates.
  • Monitor media coverage and track mentions, articles, and discussions related to the organization.
  • Proofread and edit materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to our brand guidelines.
  • Prepare media reports and summaries, providing insights and recommendations to the communications team.

Social Media Management:

  • Be responsible for all Senior Pastor’s social media platforms
  • Ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with communication goals.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, mentions, and opportunities for engagement.

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of PR events, product launches, press conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Manage event logistics, including invitations, RSVPs, on-site coordination, and post- event follow-up.
  • Remember all stakeholders’ events, e.g., birthdays, anniversary, other celebrations.
  • Ensure to post celebration messages on the Senior Pastor/CEO’s social media pages when they occur.

Strategic Communication:

  • Support the development and implementation of communication strategies and PR campaigns.
  • Assist in identifying key messages and target audiences for various communication initiatives.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between the communications team, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Coordinate internal communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across departments.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify PR opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

Innovation and Growth:

  • Stay informed about emerging trends in ministry, spirituality, and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the senior pastor to explore innovative approaches for expanding the church's impact.

Qualification / Requirements

  • HND / BSc in any relevant field
  • 5-10 years of relevance work experience in branding and communication
  • Relevant certification is an added advantage
  • This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to contribute to the CEO/Senior Pastor's overall reputation
  • Spiritual Maturity
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Salary
N300,000 Plus other benefits.
