Job Overview


  • The Finance Associate plays a crucial role in our organization's financial operations.
  • You will assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support the company's objectives.
  • You will collaborate with other teams, gather and analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to management. You also enjoy problem-solving and taking responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor account receivables and payables.
  • Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
  • Record and file cash transactions.
  • Process expense requests for approval.
  • Perform reconciliations (bank and others).
  • Assist the team in preparing balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
  • Preparation of partners' payment for disbursement
  • Process payroll for approval.
  • Post all transactions on QuickBooks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field.
  • Minimum of 2 year of cognate experience
  • Office and G-Drive knowledge to work with Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc. Excel advanced skills are a must.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices and financial software tools.
  • Good with figures and numbers and have an analytical mind.
  • Strong communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.

Salary

  • N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
