We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Account Reconciliation Officer


Job Location: CMS, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Reconciliation Officer ensures that all financial accounts, records, and statements are accurate, complete, and aligned with internal and external records.
  • This role is critical for detecting discrepancies, preventing errors or fraud, and supporting the integrity of UPDC-FM’s financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of:
    • Bank statements vs. company ledger
    • Vendor accounts vs. internal records
    • Intercompany accounts (if applicable)
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies between internal records and external statements.
  • Record and adjust any corrections in the ledger after proper approvals.
  • Maintain detailed reconciliation files for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to resolve issues.
  • Prepare reconciliation reports for management review, highlighting exceptions or risks.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing reconciled account data.
  • Ensure compliance with UPDC-FM’s financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account reconciliation or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

2.) Estate Accountant

Job Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including budgets, service charge accounts, and financial reports.
  • Monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets and cost controls.
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
  • Providing financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the facilities management sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skill
  • Professionally certified.

3.) Facility Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage building maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost optimization.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities meet organizational and legal standards.
  • Supervise and support facility staff to ensure operational excellence.

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
