St. Francis Catholic Secondary School is a private Catholic secondary school, located in Idimu, Lagos, Nigeria. The school was founded in 1990 by Francis Cusimano and is run by the North-West Africa Province of the Society of Jesus.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Lab Assistant

Job Location: 107 Liasu Rd, Council B/Stop Idimu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Clean and sterilize equipment and the work area.
• Collect and prepare the research and information needed for the studies.
• Classify and label samples.
• Provide administrative assistance
• Research relevant topics and gather information/data
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies, and health/safety guidelines
• Prepare samples for testing using various laboratory equipment.
• Maintain all laboratory records.
• Maintain the work area and equipment
• Manage the biology, physics, and chemistry lab.

Requirements

• OND in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field
• Proven working experience as a Lab Assistant
• Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment
• Accuracy and close attention to detail
• Strong analytical judgement.
