Job Position: Loan Recovery Officer

Job Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recovery activities and company’s communications.
• Send daily and weekly reminders to companies after invoices have been shared, ensuring timely payments.
• Prepare regular reports on the status of overdue accounts and recovery progress for management review.
• Identify and report any potential issues or risks that could impact the effectiveness of loan recovery efforts.
• Initiate contact with companies via phone calls, emails, and physical visits to remind them of overdue payments.
• Ensure all repayment agreements are documented accurately and adhere to company policies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of loan recovery policiesandprocedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with at least 2 years experience.
• Proven experience in loan recovery, collections, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with loan recovery processes, credit risk assessment, and debt collection laws.
