Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced procurement officer who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the procurement process within an organization.
• Their primary goal is to ensure the acquisition of goods, services, and supplies at the best possible value, quality, and terms.

Other responsibilities include:

• Identifying and selecting suitable suppliers/vendors based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
• Evaluating and comparing supplier proposals to determine the best options.
• Ensuring procurement activities align with budgetary constraints.
• Analyzing market trends, pricing, and emerging products/services.
• Tracking and evaluating supplier performance to maintain quality and delivery standards.
• Ensuring procurement activities adhere to company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Negotiating terms, prices, and contractual agreements with suppliers.
• Generating and issuing purchase orders for approved procurement requests.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
• Identifying potential risks related to suppliers, market changes, and external factors.
