The successful applicant will edit a video for Babaonigba.com, a growing cultural website. Babaonigba creates videos for their various outlets on a daily basis.

We are recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Position: Video Editor
Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effect etc).
• Video Editing and Video Production skills.
• Experience in Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics.
• Proficiency in Graphics Editing.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of current video trends and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos
• Add transitions, effects, and sound to enhance storytelling
• Work closely with the creative team to bring concepts to life
• Ensure all edits align with our style and messaging
