Responsibilities

• Processing Transactions: Accurately recording sales using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Handling Payments: Accepting cash, credit cards, debit cards, and checks, then providing the correct change.
• Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints professionally.
• Maintaining the Checkout Area: Keeping the workstation clean, organized, and stocked.
• Accuracy: Ensuring that pricing and product information are correct.
