Job Summary

• We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store or establishment
• Scan and bag merchandise for customers at the checkout counter
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately in the system
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Process cash, credit card, and check transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and other duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
