Job Position: Compliance Executive
Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
- This role involves identifying and mitigating compliance risks, conducting internal audits, training staff on compliance-related topics, and liaising with regulatory bodies when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Timeliness and quality of KYC reviews performed
- No. of KYC/CDD breaches discovery
- Turn around time for ML/TF alerts reviews
- Quality of SARs/STR filings
- Timeliness and accuracy of regulatory returns
- Monitor and interpret new and existing laws, regulations, and policies relevant to the organization.
- Investigate compliance concerns and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries or audits.
- Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., legal, finance, HR) to support compliance objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or STEM.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance, or audit role.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
