What’s the Opportunity? 


  • The Graphic Designer is the sole architect of dLocal’s visual identity, from building to maintaining a distinctive set of designs in line with our brand and values. This is a unique opportunity to create the visual identity that will make dLocal stand out and be recognized as the trusted and most exciting payment company to partner with in emerging markets.
  • Reporting to the VP of Marketing and working closely with the content, communications, demand generation and global marketing teams, you will own the creative process to deliver impactful designs that will support dLocal’s marketing campaign objectives.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop high performing creative assets including but not limited to landing pages, display ads, email campaigns, social media campaigns, booth designs, offline graphics, illustrations, infographics, video assets, animated gifs and other animations.
  • Coordinate with our copywriters, campaign managers, communications manager, digital marketer, and product team to make design decisions informed by brand positioning, performance metrics, and business objectives for our B2B audiences
  • Work closely with our field marketing team to adapt and optimize visuals to local market requirements in China, the U.S. and Europe.
  • Work within brand guidelines to create a cohesive body of work and build and manage our visual asset library and systems.
  • Create production-ready files in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Manage visual assets calendar and ensure timely production of high quality deliverables.

Requirements
What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in graphic design, in an in-house creative department or agency. 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. Basic knowledge of html.
  • Knowledge of Sketch, Figma, graphic animation software, video editing and photography is a plus.
  • Knowledge and execution of typography, layout, color theory, and brand system implementation.
  • Strong communicator, conceptual thinking, and design skills, with a data driven creative mindset.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating creativity and an ability to distill complex stories through simplicity.
  • Understanding of user experience best practices for web design and digital advertising.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and bias for action.
  • Demonstrate a positive, can-do, go-the-extra-mile attitude.
  • Out of the box (what box?) thinker.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience and knowledge of the FinTech and payments industry is a plus.
  • An ability to work across and build relationships with multiple teams.
  • Ability to work remotely and to adapt to changing work environments.
  • Ability to make independent decisions with minimal supervision and maximum accountability.
