We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Human Resources Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description


  • Coordinate day to day operations of the HR/Administrative department
  • Hire, train, and evaluate employees
  • Ensure all staff files are properly equipped with all necessary documents
  • Plan, schedule and promote office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations and training sessions
  • Collect, organise, and store information using computer and filing systems
  • Oversee special projects and track progress towards company goals
  • Ensure regular updates of staff files and staff database
  • Develop, review and improve administrative systems, policies and procedures
  • Work with Accounting and management team to set budgets, monitor spending, and process payroll and other expenses
  • Greet and direct visitors, answer phone enquiries and handle complaints in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ensure office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of files and filing system
  • Coordinate schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos, and reports and ensure that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information
  • Coordinate weekly meetings
  • Ensure all unit submit weekly, monthly and yearly report.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or equivalent in Human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of practical HR experience
  • Professional certification is an added advantage(e.g. CIPM)
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
