Avery Nigeria Limited (ANL) is the leading supplier of electronic and mechanical weighing equipments and inkjet coding systems in Nigeria. The company also supplies airport service equipment, ably supported by our specialized after sales team. ANL is a Limited Liability Company, and commenced operations in 1969 with the corporate head office located in Ikeja, Lagos and a staff strength of about 75, that boasts of considerable professional experience and background in weighing metrology and coding equipments.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Receptionist

Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description


  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Science(s)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Proven work experience as a receptionist
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service attitude
  • Not more than 30 years of age.

Salary Range
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.

2.) Personal Assistant to the Managing Director

Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a responsible Personal Assistant to provide personalized secretarial and administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner.
  • You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to manager’s working life and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact between the manager and internal/external clients
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence.
  • Make travel arrangements.
  • Take dictation and minutes.
  • Handle requests and queries appropriately
  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Source office supplies
  • Produce reports, presentations, and briefs.
  • Devise and maintain office filing system.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Science(s)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Proven work experience as a Personal Assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • MS Office and English proficiency
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

3.) Service Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Responds to customer complaints.
  • Evaluates and resolves customer’s problem.
  • Installation of machine.
  • Monitors performance of the machine.
  • Provides customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests.
  • Develops and maintains relations with customers.
  • Troubleshoot and proffer solution to customer equipment
  • Train customer personnel on machine operation.
  • Repairs, tests, and maintains machine.
  • Reports common complaints of customers to top management in order to address the situation for future reference.
  • Offers feedback on product development, features, and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 1 - 2 years of experience
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities. Able to work productively in a pressurized environment
  • Ethical and trustworthy.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
