We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Accountant

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working days: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities


  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Ensure an accurate and organized filing system for all documents
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of reports
  • Efficient management of the company’s imprest and expenses.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Maintain and manage the Fixed Assets Register for the Company
  • Ensure complete transaction processing on the Accounting software on a Real-Time Basis.
  • Ensure proper, accurate, timely, and relevant financial records are maintained.

Requirements

  • BSc in Accounting or Finance.
  • Over 3 years of work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional Certification; ICAN, ACCA, or its equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage, Peach Tree, FreshBooks or QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess strong business acumen.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Accounts is COMPULSORY.

2.) Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

Job Location: Ilesha, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time
Working days: Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Maintenance work, supervise the mechanical team, and proffer solutions to issues concerning breakdown, and preventive, and corrective measures.
  • Ensure all mechanical-related issues concerning the operational process is handled timely.
  • Carry out routine item-by-item market/ price research
  • Keep an updated record of maintenance-related issues to avoid repeated jobs.
  • Ensure the trucks are serviced on time and keep a proper record of servicing jobs.
  • Ensure all bad truck parts that have been replaced are recorded and kept safely, whether the repair is done at the Plant or on a trip.
  • Keep a record of workshop tools, spare parts, etc and monitor usage.

Education and Years of Expereince

  • First Degree in any discipline
  • At least three years of hands-on experience as a maintenance supervisor handlingMACK and HOWO trucks.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Displays a high level of integrity

3.) Male Health and Safety Officer

Job Location: Ilesha, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time
Working days: Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
  • Making regular site inspections
  • Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes
  • Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation
  • Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
  • Writing reports, bulletins and newsletters on safety.
  • Undertaking risk assessments
  • Identifying potential hazards and conducting job hazards analysis.
  • Safely handling hazardous substances
  • Making recommendations following accidents/incidents
  • Keeping up to date with developments within the profession
  • Making presentations to groups of employees/managers.
  • Determining ways of reducing risks
  • Liaising with relevant authorities
  • Organizing/attending health and safety meetings
  • Providing health and safety training courses for employees and managers
  • Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health
  • Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies.
  • Drawing-up safe operational procedures.
  • Ensure that the best and adequate protective clothing and equipment is available for all staff members and Pilots at the Plant.

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

  • B.Sc in Public Health or any related course in health, safety, or environmental field of study
  • At least 3 years of experience in health and safety.
  • HSE Certification is COMPULSORY.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • In-depth knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically
  • Good public speaking skills
  • Leadership skills.

Salary Range
N150,000 (Net) plus other benefits.
