Job Position: Human Resources & Administrative Manager

Job Location: Surulere, Lagos
Reports To: Managing Director / Head of Operations

Job Summary


  • Our Client is seeking a highly organized and experienced HR & Administrative Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and administrative operations.
  • The ideal candidate will provide strategic HR leadership while ensuring efficient administrative support that aligns with the organization’s goals and culture.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage performance management systems and staff appraisal processes.
  • Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Drive training, development, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • ?Maintain and update employee records, HR reports, and payroll support documentation.

Administration:

  • Manage general office administration, facility management, and procurement processes.
  • Supervise support staff (cleaners, drivers, security, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee company assets, logistics, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain effective filing systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Coordinate company meetings, events, and internal communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, HR practices, and payroll systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software/tools (e.g., BambooHR, HRIS systems).
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
